Find women-friendly places by what you actually need

Why we exist

The world wasn't designed for women

From safety equipment to city planning, women navigate systems built for someone else. HerMap is local infrastructure for changing that, starting with the businesses around the corner.
🛡️

Safety gaps

Spaces and equipment sized for someone else can leave women uncomfortable or unsafe.

💚

Health barriers

Care that overlooks women's needs, from nursing rooms to trauma-informed practice.

🏙️

Design failures

Cities and public spaces rarely planned around women's safety and daily reality.

🔄

Transitions, alone

Moving, motherhood, career change. Big moments too often navigated without a trusted guide.

Why a map

Generic listings don't answer fit

You research before you go. But the details that decide whether a place works for you are exactly the ones no directory shows.
The problem

Customers research, but listings can't answer:

  • Will I feel safe and welcome walking in alone?
  • Parking, transit, stroller access
  • Kids area, diaper changer, pet policies
  • Accessibility, language, provider style
The HerMap way

Small details become searchable data:

  • Practical details, checked by a real person
  • Searchable by the needs that decide fit
  • A calm, ad-free way to choose where to go
How it works

Verified by real people, every year

📋

Businesses share the details

Features, access, language, licenses. The small things that decide fit.

🛡️

HerMap Verified in person

A real person checks in person and renews each year, not crowd-sourced guesses. The badge shows the year, for transparency.

🔍

You search by what matters

Filter by parking, WiFi, ADA access, kids areas, pet policies, language, and more.

Sneak peek

Every listing looks like this

Every highlighted business gets a full HerMap Verified profile: their story, their space, their people, and the practical details, all searchable. Here is a sample:
